These are Mandala's, students learned about Mandala's and how to create one using symmetry. Students created a symmetry wheel using fractions to fold our paper and three different methods to transfer an image. Students created an image and then used either a light box, tracing paper or a crayon (rubbing transfer) to transfer their image to each slice of their wheel. Students were to then color it in symmetrically as well using crayons, markers, sharpies or colored pencils, which ever they wanted. These are just a few of the fabulous designs that they came up with.
